For a while, all I photographed were portraits or self portraits. Spending time with people, collaborating with them to create a portrait was slow going, and I enjoyed the ability to engage with both the pace, and the people. As the environment became a more dominant element, I found myself turning my attention to the land, and spending more time looking at that, and considering it’s import.
